Bricks to Baltimore
Bobby Bricks to Baltimore
The SF has found yet another home as Bricks heads to his fourth team going into his fourth season. Ohio sends Bricks’s rights and #15 for #13 and 20 IP (split evenly between S4 and S5). Bobby Bricks joins a familiar Head Coach in Tim Riggins as Bricks was a part of the S1 Michigan Killer Beez for their last 4 regular season games and playoff run after being traded from Memphis. Under Riggins and after being adjusted to the team, Bricks averaged 11 points per game, 2.3 rebounds per game, and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 60% from the floor in 6 playoff games.
Bricks has enjoyed one of his better regular season years since his time in Memphis this past season in Ohio as he was a very key piece to their run to the championship. Ohio is a team that has a lot of upcoming free agents including MVP Muddy Blunts and All-GSB 2nd team center Jordan Tribble which could cause a tight salary cap for them resulting in this trade. Ohio moves up 2 spots in the S4 draft and gains IP to allocate to other players, possibly a new rookie.
As for Baltimore, the Constellation finished the S3 season being eliminated by Ohio in the semifinals of the playoffs. The Constellation already has players such as Riggins, Huxley, and Jamal Davis and adding another S1 player like Bricks only makes this team even stronger to be contenders again in S4. It will exciting to see where and how Bricks will fit with this talented team.
