GSB Rumor Mill

Shiloh Marino on the block?

Veteran combo guard could be looking for his 3rd team heading into his 4th season in the GSB. Marino spent his first 2 seasons in the league in Memphis before going to the Vice City Kings last season. The guard averaged 12 points per game and 3 assists per game last season, and is a career 42% shooter from behind the arc.

Vice City is rumored to be aggressive this offseason and that could include them landing some big names on higher salary which means they will be having to cut some costs with their remaining roster, and Marino could be an odd man left out. Some potential landing spots for Marino seem to be New York, Michigan, Dallas, and Oakland.

Bismack finally getting his chance?

Bismack is another combo guard that will be looking for his 4th team (3rd technically if don't count a rebrand) heading into his 4th season. Bismack is a former 1st round pick that has not lived up to that hype as of yet, but has still found his way in the league as a critical role player. The guard saw his first season scoring in double digits last season in Atlantic City with 11.6 points per game, and is now looking for an opportunity to keep developing and showing what he’s made of.

The teams that I am hearing that have interest in Bismack are Michigan, Atlantic City, Baltimore, Kentucky, and New York. One team has also given promise to the guard to potentially make him a top 2 option on their team, which could be a leaning point in Bismack’s decision.

Scout Mitchell set on 2 teams?

Former S1 All-Star has been rumored to have his current focus on 2 teams as of today that have his highest interest. One team offers Scout the ability to play with close friends and the opportunity to keep competing for a championship. The other team offers Scout the chance to rebuild their team and be the face of the franchise for many seasons to come.

Scout has been a double digit scorer each season, but has seen it decrease each season as well with the rest of the roster being more balanced. Mitchell has the chance to see what opportunities are out there that can get him back to playing around his star level talent like we saw during S1.
