Justin Banks on the move?

Banks has been one of the most underrated players in the league throughout his career. S1 he was a part of the VC squad for 10 games that had a league best record putting up 10 ppg and 3apg with them before being traded to Michigan, another top team at the time, for their end of regular season/playoff run. Banks averaged 14.3 ppg in the last 4 regular season games in Michigan. After S1 ended Banks was then traded again to Albuquerque where he has spent the last 2 seasons of his career. He’s played mostly SG there and he just got off his career best year averaging 14.4 ppg and 5.4 apg.

The Martians have Al Ingram III and Brent Lane holding down the PG spots while John Fowler and newly acquired Hakuna Matata fill out the SG position. This more than likely leaves Banks as the odd man out as he looks for an opportunity to move back to his natural PG position and be a lead man. A few teams such as Pittsburgh and both former teams in Michigan and Vice City all stand out as teams that could definitely use a PG of his caliber, especially with Truck Turner likely on the move for Michigan.

Vice City and New Orleans being aggressive?

The Former S1 Champs have declined each season. S2 they were swept in round 1 and this season finished with the 4th worst record in the league. However, this team is very talented and just landed the #1 pick in the draft that might be potentially moved to land another proven star to get this team back to contention. Expect Vice to be in the mix for the likes of Truck Turner, Justin Banks, and Bismack to help upgrade their roster.

New Orleans is another team that just barely misses the playoffs or around the 8th seed every year. This offseason it looks like the Riders want to take the next step and land another superstar along with Goshay. Nola could look at upgrades at forward and center to help their case. The Riders will be in the running for a guy like Petey Wheatstraw and could look at others such as RaeSean Carter, Jim C Williams, and Jack Lawson if made available.

Tyrano Rex available?

Rex just finished his rookie season as an All-GSB 2nd team rookie point guard and looks like he could be on the move already. Boston already has Mike Melo and just traded for a S1 pg in Aaron Hughes this offseason already which could leave Rex to be traded for a wing or backup center which are needed in Boston. Rex has shown a lot of promise and potential to be a starting caliber guard in this league and a team should be willing to take a chance on him. If I was Boston I would be calling checking in on players like Still O’Goode, Anthony Simmons, or even another high S4 first if they like a rookie enough to fill that roster spot.
