GSB Season 4 Mock Draft V.1

by Tim Riggins

GSB S4 Mock Draft

Through 4 Games

1. Motor City Muscle (Via Vice City)

King Anasta PG

The Muscle come into the draft with 2 top 4 picks and what better way to use the #1 overall pick than to draft the replacement of Truck Turner. Anasta has been lighting up the prospect league through the first 4 games and has been the leading scoring and most efficient point guard. Motor City gets its future lead guard to pair next to Shiloh Marino.

2. Baltimore Constellation (Via Pittsburgh)

Cam Jones SG

The Constellation is currently full, but if they decide to make a move to use the #2 pick then Jones has been too good to pass up. The SG (been playing PG in prospect league) has been the best all-around player and second most efficient perimeter player as well. Jones is averaging 13 ppg, 6 rpg, 5.5 apg, 1.3 spg, and shooting 60% from the floor and 43% from 3. Jones would give Baltimore a great weapon to make another postseason push.

3. Seattle Orcas (Via New York)

Kristopher Jackson Jr SF

Likely the only spot open on the roster, Jackson comes into Seattle fitting their mold very well. The SF has been a tremendous offensive player averaging around 18/4/4 that would help replace Butch Harrison for them. Jackson also has a pretty similar game to Wulong-Chi which would help the young rookie grow and develop under someone very similar.

4. Motor City Muscle

Time Lord PF

With their 2nd selection in the top 4 the Muscle get a combo forward in Lord to give them more talent. Lord has been forced to play SF in the prospect league but is still shooting an efficient 58/43 from the floor. Lord could learn a lot behind Padraza (S1 #1 pick) and also give Motor City some minutes at SF if needed.

5. Oakland Otters

Tony Wolf SG

The S2 champs had a very off S3 which has them drafting in the top 5 this offseason. With the retirement of Oddy Nuff the Otters will be looking for another wing player and Wolf has shown a lot of potential scoring the rock. The SG is averaging almost 13 ppg through 4 games and could be a perfect replacement for Nuff to help Oakland get back to contention.

6. Boston Militia

Apollo Konstantinos C

The Militia needs talent and what better way to get that than drafting the highest scoring center in the prospect league. Konstantinos also helps aid the loss of Joker Dejesus and has the chance to learn and develop behind King DeMoura who has been one of the best centers in the league. Apollo gives Boston a potential go to man for their bench unit that they desperately lack.

7. Ohio Shaman

Lee Wind SF

SF is the only current spot open in Ohio and the Shaman brings in Lee Wind who is a solid do it all kind of guy. Putting up nearly 9/4/3 is something Ohio could value a lot to help replace S1 vet Bobby Bricks who was traded to Baltimore. Wind also goes to a very good team that excels in development.

8. San Antonio Stampede

Kade Padgett PF

Padgett has been a monster on the boards and would be a very valuable addition to the Stampede to give them a reliable big man behind Marcum. Padgett is 2nd in rebounds per game and doubles the scoring of the current rebounding leader showing he can do it all around the rim.

9. Portland Pioneers

Rob Richie C

Richie has been a menace defensively averaging almost 4 combined steals/blocks per game while snatching 8.5 rebounds per game. This is the type of production Portland needs to replace Milton Francis Heinkel, and possibly Pharoah Dotson as well.

10. Pittsburgh Steelhawks (Via Atlantic City)

Daylen Proctor C

The Steelhawks lose both Bryant Buckets and Tyrese White, their 2 starting big men from last season. Kolton Brady is a 7ft PF rookie that automatically joins the team as owner, and now they give him a running partner for the future in Proctor. Proctor does not score much but he leads the league in rebounding with 9 per game and averages 2 blocks per game as well.

11. Ohio Shaman (Via Dallas)

Matt Wuhu PG

With a full roster this pick is a pick that would require Ohio to trade a player away and take a chance on a PG averaging 16.5 & 6.5 a game. Wuhu needs to be more efficient if he wants to up his draft stock, but Ohio is a team that could develop that for him to get him on the right track.

12. Oceanside Surfs

Neal Mason PG

With Lingham being a free agent Ocean Side takes their next backup PG to develop behind Dime Hardaway. Mason has been a very good scoring PG, but needs to get more efficient from 3pt land to take the next step.

13. Ohio Shaman

Chris Dell PF

Dell has been a very solid all around PF that many teams could value in a thin position in the pro league. The PF also shows a lot of defensive versatility to guard multiple positions that should have the Shaman intrigued on adding him to their team.

14. New Orleans Riders (via Albuquerque)

Zeus Williams C

Zeus is a monstrous 7 '3 center that has played tremendous defense so far. The center however, has been super inefficient from the floor and if he ups that his stock could go into the top 5 very easily. The Riders have been searching for a big time center for awhile and with Bam Bam Hayes no longer there this pick makes a lot of sense.

15. Baltimore Constellation

Keaton Overton PF

The PF in Overton is averaging a solid 11 & 6 on 75% shooting around the rim proving he can be an impact year 1 on a team. Overton would add a lot of good things to Baltimore if selected that could keep them in the contender tier.

16. Seattle Orcas

Tyler Smith SF

Another big body wing that the Orcas love, Tyler Smith would keep the trend going in Seattle. Smith has been very efficient despite not getting a lot of opportunities on the offensive end. The SF has the length to defend multiple positions and cause havoc on the defensive side which Seattle loves.
