Ohio Lands Ethan Lederman

Ohio Trades for Lederman

The Ohio Shaman just traded for the rights of Ethan Lederman as he’s currently a free agent. Ohio likes their chances to land a contract with the star SG, and San Antonio lands a 2nd round pick for a player they would have potentially lost in free agency.

Lederman just finished the S3 season averaging 20.6 points per game and runner-up 6MOTY. The Shaman could form a nasty scoring backcourt of Blunts and Lederman in the starting lineup, or the Shaman could continue to use Lederman in a 6th man role and have an elite scorer in both units. Lederman comes in likely replacing Scout Mitchell who potentially already has a deal in place to sign with another team in free agency.

As for San Antonio they continue to rebuild their roster. It’s surprising they only landed a 2nd round pick from a team with 3 1st round picks this upcoming draft and with a player like Lederman even if it was just for the rights. The Stampede are likely looking for picks to gather some big man depth and upgrade a PF to help the team compete this upcoming season.
