Top 10 Prospects with GSB Pro Comps
Riggins GSB Top 10 Prospects With GSB Pro Comps
1. Kristopher Jackson Jr - King James II
My #1 prospect this season has shown a great deal of all-around offense which is similar to what King James II provides for Vice City, winning FMVP season 1. If Jackson continues to showcase this sort of skill set in the pros he will undoubtedly be a top option to whichever team he goes to for the foreseeable future.
2. Apollo Konstantinos - Milton Francis Heinkel
The tall slim center build that can rebound, block shots, and score in different ways must bring fans flashbacks of the once elite college prospect in MFH. Apollo hasn't had that monstrous of numbers compared to MFH’s college days, but he has been the leading scorer amongst centers at around 8 ppg and averaging 2 blocks a game
3. Cam Jones - Hoe Jarris
Hoe Jarris may be one of the better 2-way guards in the league and can easily play 1-3. Jones is a natural SG but has taken the challenge at playing PG extremely well averaging 13-5-5 and over a steal a game after 6 games. Any team would love to have a perimeter guy that can get it done on both ends of the court.
4. Keaton Overton - Mario Medici
Even with Medici being a center he’s played his entire career as a PF. Overton is also a 7 foot big that’s list at PF and he’s been an extremely efficient finisher, rebounder, and shot blocker in the prospect league. That kind’ve production at the PF spot reminds me of Medici and how he’s been a top 5-7 center in the GSB each season.
5. Ace Lord - Petey Wheatstraw
Lord has been playing a lot of combo forward in the prospect games, similar to what Wheatstraw did during his time in Michigan. Wheatstraw played SF during S1 and PF during S2 and 2 being a 2x all-star his first 2 seasons. Lord has that same versatility with his 3 level scoring potential, and if he gets his defense good inside and out he will be a very good player for a long time.
6. King Anasta - Brennan McGinty
Anasta reminds me of how McGinty was a S1 all-star being a short but quick guard that can get to his spots at will to score, and also play makes for his teammates. His height limits his defensive potential, but if he gets his 3 ball efficiency his scoring production may very well offset that.
7. Zeus Williams - Ernesto Romero
A 7’3 monster, Zeus is a nightmare on the court to matchup against. He hardly gives up anything inside with his strength and defensive instincts. Like Romero, Zeus has also shown flashes to stretch the floor when needed to help maximize both his and his team’s offensive potential.
8. Daylen Proctor - Anthony Stover
Despite not scoring much Proctor has been an elite rebounder and shot blocker, which gives me a lot of Anthony Stover vibes and what he contributes to the Martians. Proctor does his job very well and efficiently and will make any team happy to have him competing for their team.
9. Kade Padgett - Thomas LeClaire
Without the off the court antics, Padgetts game is pretty similar to LeClaire’s. Padgett is a 7ft interior PF that's a great rebounder and interior defender for a power forward. He mostly gets his points around the basketball, but has shown willingness to expand his game with a jump shot.
10. Matt Wuhu - Brent Lane
1 Wichita PG being compared to another former Wichita PG. Wuhu is a very solid play making shot creator that has the potential to light up the scoring column if his 3pt shot is falling. Wuhu has also show the potential to lead an offense with his play making abilities averaging around 6 assists per game.
