PF Al Padraza

S4 Pick 1.1

S5 Vice City 1st Round Pick

The former S1 champs have just made the biggest trade in GSB history as they Kings land Truck Turner and Petey Wheatstraw from Michigan. Vice City send Al Padraza, Shiloh Marino, S4 1st #1 overall, and a S5 1st to Motor City as they start their rebuild/retool.

The Kings are being aggressive this offseason and what better way to then land arguably the best GSB player in history in Truck Turner who will lock down their starting PG spot. The Kings now have Turner, James II, and Blue on the perimeter forming the best 1-3 punch in the league. Wheatstraw fills the PF spot left from Padraza and is a perfect fit for this team in my opinion as he can be a great option for them in the starting lineup with those 3 players, or they can make him the go-to man off the bench and watch him still put up 12-15 points a night. You add in Billy Bob Buckley and this may be the most dangerous starting 5 you will see in the GSB. Add in B Fazo, Detherage, Blackmon, Ali, and potentially O’Goode if they re-sign him and this team is very good for another title push.

For Michigan, they still land a former 2x all-star PF in Al Padraza who could make for a deadly pairing with Bear Johnson down low. Marino has been a solid guard that has scored double digits every season of his career, and could be looking at a breakout scoring season being potentially the lead man on offense for Motor City. The Muscles now have picks #1 and #4 to land 2 premier franchise players to help get the team back on track to winning basketball. This trade gives the organization a clear path of what they want to do in the future and hopefully maximize the talents of Marino and Padraza.
